Hi there, I’m Joe

I was born in Batavia NY where I graduated from the Metal Trades Vocational High School At 17. I joined the United States Marine Corps and served from 1961 - 1965. Later I graduated from The State University College at Buffalo and went on to The Ohio State University where I took a PhD. in 1975. After serving as the head of the Department of Psychology at a co-ed facility for delinquent adolescents and later as the Chief Psychologist for the Mahoning County Diagnostic and Evaluation Clinic.

 

I took a position as Assistant Professor in the Criminal Justice Department at Youngstown State University. With a specialty in Forensic Psychology, I testified in court over 30 times and published four books and manuals for professionals. I also wrote over 30 commercial software packages for psychological diagnosis.

 

I retired as a Distinguished Professor of Research from YSU in 2002. I retired from private practice and as the owner of Towne Square Psychological Services.
